THE PERFUME BOTTLE
In my very busy life as a
missionary I have one indulgence - I buy a bottle of exquisite French
Perfume at a Duty Free shop on my way in and out of New Zealand, the country
of my birth. Because I like to smell nice I don’t consider the Lord
begrudges me this one simple indulgence. In fact, knowing how important it
is to me, the Lord used it as an illustration and a focal point in a dream
He gave to me recently.
In this dream I was looking at
my perfume bottle. The bottle was almost empty; there was just a small
amount of perfume remaining at the bottom of the bottle. I looked at it with
considerable concern as I realized I had no immediate plans to travel to my
homeland, and would therefore be unable to purchase a replacement bottle in
the near future. I gazed at the bottle wondering what to do?
Ah, yes, I had the answer! All I
had to do was replace the already used perfume with water! But as the water
hit the perfume there was a chemical explosion in the bottle. The water and
perfume fused together and began to boil. They bubbled and bubbled until all
the liquid bubbled away! A vapor formed and escaped out through the top of
the bottle.
I gazed at the empty bottle with
great concern. Once I had a little perfume and now all I had was an empty
bottle.
At this point I awoke, having no
immediate revelation concerning the meaning of the dream. It was some time
later that the Lord revealed to me what He had been saying. I want to share
with you the interpretation of this dream and what it means for you and me
as members of the Body of Christ worldwide.
There are three parts to this
dream and three areas of discussion in relation to the interpretation. Let
us look first at the perfume.
The
Perfume
The perfume speaks to us about
the Holy Spirit: the beautiful fragrance of the Holy Spirit flowing through
and out of our lives. There is a fragrant smell that God wants to bring
forth from each of us that will only come as we submit to His precious Holy
Spirit.
In the dream there was only a
very small portion of perfume in the bottom of the bottle. When we think of
perfume in Biblical terms, we think of oil. Oil is a symbol of the Holy
Spirit. The Bible speaks to us about oil. Oil comes from the olive, which is
poetically referred to as the ‘king’ of the trees in Judges 9:8-9.
Whilst in Morocco and Spain I have seen the harvesting of the olives. The
harvesters put large tarpaulins under each tree then they beat the branches
of the trees with sticks; they literally beat the olives off the trees. Once
the olives drop onto the tarpaulin, they are loaded into horse-driven carts
and taken to the factory to be crushed into olive oil.
“You shall command the
Israelites to provide you with pure oil of crushed olives for the light, to
cause it to burn continually
[every night]” (Exodus
27:20 - HNV).
“Command the Israelites that
they bring to you pure oil from beaten olives for the light
[of the golden lampstand] to cause a lamp to burn continually”
(Leviticus 24:2 - HNV).
“You will sow but won’t reap.
You will tread the olives but won’t anoint yourself with oil; and crush
grapes but won’t drink the wine”
(Micah 6:15 - HNV).
“They press olives for oil, and
grapes for wine, but they themselves are thirsty”
(Job 24:11 – GNB).
You can see that in the
harvesting of olives, several things have to happen to them before they can
be used. They are beaten; they are trodden on; they are crushed; they are
pressed. They cannot be used until this process occurs.
·
There was no fragrance, no light
for the lamp without the crushing, beating,
breaking and pressing.
·
This too is God’s
process for each one of us.
·
If we want the
fragrance of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we must yield to the breaking,
crushing, pressing and squeezing process also.
“Oil for the light, spices for
the anointing oil, and for the perfume of the spices” (Exodus 25:6 – YLT).
“He made the holy anointing oil
[symbol of the Holy Spirit] and the pure incense of sweet spices, after
the art of the perfumer” (Exodus 37:29 – HNV).
The light from our lives is not
to go out day or night. There is to be sweet incense coming forth from our
lives continually.
“And Moses took some of the
anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar and sprinkled it
on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons’ garments with
him; and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons’
garments with him”
(Leviticus 8:30 – HNV).
“And the priest shall take some
of the blood of the guilt or trespass offering and put it on the tip of the
right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand,
and on the great toe of his right foot. And the priest shall take some of
the log of oil and pour it into the palm of his own left hand; And the
priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand and
shall sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before the Lord;
And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put some on
the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of
his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot, on the blood of the
guilt or trespass offering
[which he has previously placed in each of these places]. And the rest of
the oil that is in the priest’s hand he shall pour upon the head of him who
is to be cleansed and make atonement for him before the Lord” (Leviticus
14:14-18 – Amp.).
The priest puts the oil where
the blood has already been put; where the blood of the precious sacrifice
will be (Jesus Christ is the oil of the
anointing of the Holy Spirit). When we put the oil over the blood,
the anointing of the Holy Spirit will be poured out.
We see that oil had special
purposes in the Scriptures.
Oil was used to anoint kings.
Samuel anointed David to be king
over Israel.
“The Lord said to Samuel, ‘How
long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over
Israel? Fill your horn with oil; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite.
For I have provided for Myself a king among his sons.’ Samuel said, ‘How can
I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me.’ And the Lord said, ‘Take a heifer
with you and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’ And invite Jesse
to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do; and you shall
anoint for Me the one I name to you.’ And Samuel did what the Lord said, and
came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming and
said, ‘Have you come peaceably?’ And he said, ‘Peaceably; I have come to
sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrate yourselves and come with me to the
sacrifice.’ And he consecrated Jesse and his sons and called them to the
sacrifice. When they had come, he looked on Eliab
[the eldest son] and said, ‘Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him. But
the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Look not on his appearance or at the height of his
stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man
looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.’ Then
Jesse called Abinadab and made him pass before Samuel. But Samuel said,
‘Neither has the Lord chosen this one.’ Then Jesse made Shammah pass by.
Samuel said, ‘Nor has the Lord chosen him.’ Jesse made seven of his sons
pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, ‘The Lord has not chosen any
of these.’ Then [he] said to Jesse, ‘Are all your sons here?’
[Jesse] said, ‘There is yet the youngest; he is tending the sheep.’
Samuel said to Jesse, ‘Send for him; for we will not sit down to eat until
he is here.’ Jesse sent and brought him. David had a healthy reddish
complexion and beautiful eyes, and was fine-looking. The Lord said [to
Samuel], ‘Arise, anoint him; this is he.’ Then Samuel took
the horn of oil and anointed David in the midst of his brothers; and the
Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward. And
Samuel arose and went to Ramah” (1 Samuel 16:1-13,
Amp.).
In
Christ we are kings.
·
We are anointed by the King of
kings and Lord of lords.
·
We are to be
kings and priests of the most high God.
·
We are to be
carriers of the glory of God; anointed by the King.
“But you have been anointed by
[you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from]
the Holy One, and you all know [the Truth] all things” (1 John
2:20, Amp.).
“But as for you, the anointing
(the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides
[permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone
should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning
everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live
in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him],
just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do]” (1 John
2:27 – Amp.).
·
We are anointed by the Holy One
- Jesus.
·
We are anointed to
die!
·
Just as He was
anointed to die, so are we.
“And He said to all, ‘If any
person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself [disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests,
refuse and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me
[cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if
need be, in dying also]. For whoever would preserve his life and save it
will lose and destroy it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he will
preserve and save it [from the penalty of eternal death]’” (Luke
9:23-24, Amp.).
“Mary took a pound of ointment
of pure liquid nard
[a rare perfume] that was very expensive, and she poured it on Jesus’
feet and wiped them with her hair. And the whole house was filled with the
fragrance of the perfume” (John 12:3 – Amp.).
“I assure you, most solemnly I
tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains
[just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if
it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest. Anyone who loves
his life loses it, but anyone who hates his life in this world will keep it
to life eternal. [Whoever has no love for, no concern for, no regard for
his life here on earth, but despises it, preserves his life forever and
ever.]” (John 12:24-25, Amp.)
“And He said to all, If any
person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself
[disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, refuse
and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me
[cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if
need be, in dying also]. For whoever would preserve his life and save it
will lose and destroy it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he will
preserve and save it [from the penalty of eternal death]” (Luke
9:23-24, Amp.).
If we want to save our lives we
must first lose them. We are to deny ourselves and take up the cross daily.
Daily dying! The cross speaks to us about death - death to self; dying so
that others may live. The grain of wheat has to fall in the ground and die.
Only when it dies do many seeds come forth. If there is no death, there is
no resurrection. Death is a must - death to self.
I want to ask you, reader; When
did you last say, “I want, I think, I feel?” This is self! The I
in me has to die. I must humble myself and die. It's a choice. I choose to
humble myself so that the precious fragrance of the Holy Spirit may be
poured forth in my life.
Mary took her best and poured it
out to anoint Jesus. She poured out the perfume and the fragrance filled the
place.
·
Will we be poured
out for Jesus?
·
Will we yield to
the Holy Spirit to be broken and poured out for others?
When the penniless widow of a
deceased prophet approached Elisha, she was in a desperate situation - the
creditor had come to receive that which was owing to him.
“Elisha said to her, ‘What shall
I do for you? Tell me, what have you
[of sale value] in the house?’ She said, ‘Your handmaid has nothing in
the house except a jar of oil’”
(2 Kings 4:2 – Amp.).
What do you have in your hand
today? The oil in your hand today has the potential to bring life change!
Topping Up With Water
Let us look at the second
section of the dream where I took water and filled the almost empty perfume
bottle. What does this water mean and what is its significance?
When we study the Bible we
realize that water is of special significance in the Scriptures. Water
brings life, refreshing, renewing; reviving us. Without water we cannot
live. It needs to be pure, clean, fresh water.
Let us look at the passage in
John 4, which has something important to impart to us. Here is a woman who,
for some reason, could not go to the well when the other women did. Why not?
Was it because she was despised and rejected by all the other women? The
other women did not come to the well in the heat of the day, yet here she
was, in the heat of the day . . . and a man, a Jewish Man, is asking her for
a drink! Now to us that doesn’t seem in any way unusual, but the woman was a
Samaritan and the Jews absolutely despised them. And it wasn’t just any man
- it was Jesus.
“Presently, when a woman of
Samaria came along to draw water, Jesus said to her, ‘Give Me a drink--For
His disciples had gone off into the town to buy food--The Samaritan woman
said to Him, ‘How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan [and a] woman, for a drink?--For the Jews have nothing to do with
the Samaritans’-- Jesus answered her, ‘If you had only known and had
recognized God's gift and Who this is that is saying to you, Give Me a
drink, you would have asked Him [instead] and He would have given you
living water.’ She said to Him, ‘Sir, You have nothing to draw with
[no drawing bucket] and the well is deep; how then can You provide living
water? [Where do You get Your living water?] Are You greater than and
superior to our ancestor Jacob, who gave us this well and who used to drink
from it himself, and his sons and his cattle also?’ Jesus answered her, ‘All
who drink of this water will be thirsty again. But whoever takes a
drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty
any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water
welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto
(into, for) eternal life.’ The woman said to Him, ‘Sir, give me this
water, so that I may never get thirsty nor have to come [continually all
the way] here to draw” (John 4:7-15, Amp.).
Jesus promises to give her
living water. He knows things about her He could never have known except the
Holy Spirit revealed it to Him. He prophesies into her life, using the word
of wisdom and knowledge to speak words of revelation to her. She is so
impacted by what Jesus says that she goes and tells her whole village. She
brings her whole village to Jesus, all because He gives her living water,
the water of life.
The precious Word of God is
living water to our thirsty souls. We are to drink deeply and daily of this
water. We could never survive in the natural without water and it is the
same for our daily Christian living; we cannot survive in the spiritual
unless we have spiritual water. We are to put our roots down deep in the
Word of God. The root system is the basis for the tree: as the tree, so are
its roots.
“Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks
and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice,
their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in
the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where
the scornful [and the mockers] gather. But his delight and desire are
in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions,
the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies)
by day and by night (see Romans 13:8-10; Galatians 3:1-29; 2 Timothy
3:16). And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by
the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf
also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and
come to maturity]” (Psalm 1:1-3, Amp.).
“[Most]
blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord,
and whose hope and confidence the Lord is. For he shall be like a tree
planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall
not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not
be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease
yielding fruit” (Jeremiah 17:7-8, Amp.).
“This is He Who came by
(with) water and blood [His baptism and His death], Jesus
Christ (the Messiah)--not by (in) the water only, but by
(in) the water and the blood. And it is the [Holy] Spirit Who
bears witness, because the [Holy] Spirit is the Truth. So there are
three witnesses in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and
these three are One; and there are three witnesses on the earth: the spirit,
the water, and the blood; and these three agree [are in unison; their
testimony coincides]” (1 John 5:6-8, Amp.).
Here we see the linking of the
water, the spirit and the blood. The Holy Spirit does not come to any of us
unless we first receive the sacrifice of Jesus shedding His blood for us.
In my dream the water had been
mixed with the perfume, causing a chemical explosion where the water and the
perfume react together and boil. They bubble and bubble furiously until they
can bubble no more. This bubbling creates a fine vapor, which rises and
escapes out of the top of the bottle.
The
Chemical Explosion!
What then is the chemical
explosion? This is the third part of the dream. When we mix the water of the
Word of God with the anointing, the perfume of the Holy Spirit of
brokenness, we get a chemical explosion – that of signs, wonders and
miracles!
Do you want signs, wonders and
miracles? Then mix the water of the Word of God with the anointing of the
Holy Spirit. Put your roots down deep in the Word. Spend more time with the
Lord. Mix this with the humility of crushing, of dying, of humbling
yourself, and you will know a chemical explosion, both in your life and in
your ministry.
“But you shall receive power
(ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,
and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to
the ends (the very bounds) of the earth” (Acts 1:8 – Amp.).
The word power in this
verse comes from the Greek word dunamis, meaning dynamite or
an explosion. When the water of God’s Word and the perfume of the Holy
Spirit are mixed together in our lives, there will be an explosion in the
effectiveness of our witnessing.
We will be His witnesses in
Jerusalem, the place where Jesus was spat upon, beaten, crushed and
crucified. Jerusalem for us represents the crushing and the beating of the
olives, the dying to self. Jerusalem was also the capital city of the day.
The disciples did not live in Jerusalem; their home town was elsewhere. We
too are called to reach the capital city of whatever region we live in.
Judea - the surrounding countryside - also speaks of death for this was the
very place where Herod had all the baby boys murdered in his diabolical
effort to “eradicate” Baby Jesus. When we take the Gospel to Judea there
will be those waiting to deliver a death blow to the message we bring. And
Samaria was a place despised by the Jews; a place where they had nothing in
common with the people; a place where they didn’t want to GO. Then comes the
ends of the earth, which includes New Zealand, Russia and the Middle East.
In all these places we will receive power and authority to GO and be His
explosive, dynamic witnesses! Many Christians never have power and
authority, as they never obey this command and GO!
Let me ask you today – do you
want this power, this ability, this might? Do you want the dunamis power of
the Holy Spirit? Well, the answer is in your own hands. Just obey this
command and GO.
“Jesus approached and, breaking
the silence, said to them, ‘All authority
(all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then
and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe
everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days
(perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the
[very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be)’”
(Matthew 28:18-20, Amp.).
“And He said to them, ‘Go into
all the world and preach and publish openly the good news
(the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]. He who
believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him
Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty
of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere
to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will
be condemned. And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in
My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; They
will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it
will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get
well’” (Mark 16:15-18, Amp.).
We are commanded to go into all
the world and preach the Gospel. This is a command of Jesus. This is not
optional extra. Many Christians say, “Well God has not spoken to me about
that yet!” But let me challenge you today. God does not have to speak to
us about this again. He has already spoken. It is very clear in His
Word that we are to walk in obedience. Whatever He says we must do. Where it
says pray - we are to pray, and it is the same with all other aspects
of our Christian life. Why then, when the Great Commission is spoken of, do
we suddenly change the rules and say it is optional! If God has spoken, we
just have to bite the bullet and obey!
“You have not chosen Me, but I
have chosen you and I have appointed you
[I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on
bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide],
so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all
that I AM], He may give it to you” (John 15:16 – Amp.).
“I assure you, most solemnly I
tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to
do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these,
because I go to the Father”
(John 14:12 – Amp.).
If we are to do the works that
Jesus did, we must recognize and obey His command. If this great harvest is
to be brought in, we must obey His command and go.
What about our neighbor, you
might ask? Don't we have to reach our neighbor first? Surely the Great
Commission deals with my home town, my neighbor, my family, etc. first? My
reply is, no, it does not! When Jesus spoke about our neighbor, it was in a
completely different setting. Jesus expects us to reach the world and not be
limited just to our family, our friends and our own community. Look with me
at what the Word of God says about this.
“Jesus answered, ‘The first and
principal one of all commands is: Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God is one
Lord; And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart
and out of and with all your soul
(your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of
thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your
strength. This is the first and principal commandment (see Deuteronomy
6:4-5). The second is like it and is this, You shall love your neighbor
as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these’” (Mark
12:29-31, Amp; see Leviticus 19:18).
“Honor
your father and your mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as
[you do] yourself” (Matthew 19:19 - Amp; see also Leviticus 19:18;
Matthew 22:39).
“And then a certain lawyer arose
to try (test, tempt)
Him, saying, ‘Teacher, what am I to do to inherit everlasting life
[that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah's kingdom]?’
Jesus said to him, ‘What is written in the Law? How do you read
it?’ And he replied, ‘You must love the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all
your mind; and your neighbor as yourself (see also Leviticus 19:18;
Deuteronomy 6:5). And Jesus said to him, ‘You have answered
correctly; do this, and you will live [enjoy active, blessed, endless
life in the kingdom of God]” (Luke 10:25-28, Amp.).
“Teacher, which kind of
commandment is great and important
(the principal kind) in the Law? And He replied to him,
‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your mind (intellect) (Deuteronomy 6:5). This is the
great (most important, principal) and first commandment. And a second
is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself
(Leviticus 19:18). These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all
the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 22:36-40, Amp.).
In the story of the Good
Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37, we clearly see that when a certain lawyer quoted
Scripture to Jesus about loving your neighbor as yourself, Jesus, in His
reply, enforced to him that his neighbor included an unknown victim, beaten
and lying on the side of the road. In fact the neighbor in Jesus’ story was
a despised Samaritan! One whom the lawyer would have hated! But Jesus was
reiterating the fact that our neighbor does not have to be known to us, nor
live in the same vicinity . . . he only has to live in the same world!!
Jesus told us to love the Lord
our God with all our passion, all our intellect, and with all our mind and
understanding. He said we must love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Can I
ask you - how do you love yourself? Do you feed and clothe yourself? Do you
take care of your natural body? How do you love yourself in the spiritual
sense? Do you read the Word, feed on the Word, have fellowship with other
believers, cleanse yourself by the blood of Jesus, etc? What then about our
neighbor? Surely we will look after their spiritual wellbeing in the same
way. Surely this commandment deals with reaching the “whosoever wills” for
Jesus, witnessing and discipling them into the Kingdom? Jesus had already
dealt with the subject of our neighbor, and He clearly spoke of the lost and
of the nations!
Paul repeats this command in
Romans 13:9-10. “The commandments, You shall not commit adultery, You
shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet (have an evil
desire), and any other commandment, are summed up in the single
command, You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself (see
also Exodus 20:13-17). Love does no wrong to one’s neighbor [it never
hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the
fulfilling of the Law” (Amp.).
“You
shall not take vengeance
(revenge) or bear any grudge
against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as
yourself. I am the Lord” (Leviticus 19:18 – RSV; see also Matthew
5:43-46; Romans 12:17, 19).
“For the whole Law
[concerning human relationships] is complied with in the one precept, You
shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself” (Galatians 5:14 –
Amp.).
“If indeed you
[really] fulfill the royal Law in accordance with the Scripture, You
shall love your neighbor as [you love] yourself, you do well”
(James 2:8 – Amp.).
But
the bottle is nearly empty, Lord!
Remember then the dream . . . I
was looking at my perfume bottle. This bottle was almost empty of perfume
with just a small amount remaining at the bottom of the bottle. I looked at
it with considerable concern, realizing I was not traveling out of the
country through Duty Free, and would therefore be unable to buy a
replacement bottle. I gazed at the bottle wondering what to do?
In the next scene I filled the
bottle up with water! As the water hit the perfume there was a chemical
explosion in the bottle. The water and perfume mixed together and began to
boil. They bubbled and bubbled until all the liquid bubbled away! A vapor
formed and all the vapor escaped through the top of the bottle. I gazed at
the empty bottle with great concern. Once I had a little perfume and now it
had all disappeared into vapor. At this point I awoke.
Think again about the things I
have shared with you. Brokenness is the precious perfume that is in the
bottle. Mix brokenness with the Water of the Word of God and you will get a
chemical explosion of signs, wonders and miracles. This will cause a
chemical explosion that will create a vapor, which speaks of the Gospel of
the Kingdom. This precious Gospel will go out into all the world, bringing
transformation in our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth.
·
The harvest is white - the
labourers are few!
·
Jesus commands us
to GO!
·
Will you obey this
command of Jesus to GO into all the world and preach the Gospel?
Will you pray with me: “Lord,
make me willing to be made willing. Break me, Lord. I humble myself today so
the fragrance of the anointing might be poured forth from my life. Lord, I
want to put my roots down deep in the Word of God, I want to drink deep from
the living water. Lord, I take the water of the Word and mix it with the
brokenness the anointing brings. Let there be a chemical explosion in my
life and the lives of those I touch. Lord, I recognize that I need to obey
Your Word. Your Word says I am to go into all the world and preach the
Gospel: that all power and all authority is given unto me to go. Lord, I
surrender to You today. I will obey Your Word and go to the nations, in the
Name of Jesus.”
