In an endeavour to assist pastors and evangelists to be self-supporting in countries where there is little or no support for the ministry, or where orphanages have been set up in very remote areas an approach to assist by financing into the future has been adopted.

The following concept is adaptable to the many different cultures encountered in this missionary ministry.

METHOD:
The visiting Apostolic team finances the project. This is personal input, people to people, not just someone giving cash.

In the sewing machine microenterprise the sewing machine is financed to the project on a loan basis and the project is expected to repay this loan over a period of time once the person operating the machine is making a saleable product.

The team finances purchases, Pairs of Ducks, Goats, Calves, Hens or some animal appropriate to the area visited.

The provision of this type of animal or bird
is to give the following options:

  • To be a producer of a saleable item, eggs, milk, cheese.

  • To be a producer of an edible item which will improve family health.

  • To be an investment which can if properly used multiply, thereby increasing
the opportunity for both the family and others.

We have empowered through providing animals buffalo, oxen, goats, sheep pigs  in many nations to enable pastors and leaders to be self supporting.. This enables community transformation

  • To produce milk for the children.
  • To plough the rice fields we have provided to feed the children and students in the project.
  • To use the oxen as a micro project to generate cash flow for the project through using them to plough other fields.
  • To reproduce the animals increases productivity and possibilities

PLANT A SEED TODAY AND REAP THE HARVEST TOMORROW!

We are seeking to purchase more rice fields in order to provide the complete diet of rice for 15 child and the family for a whole year. The current rice fields 10 acres  provide two harvests with sufficient rice for the year.

In this project we are now wanting to establish a vocational training capacity for the Training Center we have established. This will make the students self supporting. In order to do this we need sewing machines to be provided. These machines cost approx $120 US. Vocational training cost per student is Approx $200.
